Our campus Freight
and Delivery Services unit is committed to providing you with
the best possible service for delivery,
office move requirements, and surplus pick ups. Our goals
are simple:

Sustain same day package delivery

Maintain a three-day turn-around for normal
freight delivery
-
Maintain a 15 business day turn-around for
your surplus needs
-
Accomplish work order requests on the day
they are promised
-
Provide you with a 100% customer service
guarantee.
In order to achieve
our goals and ensure timely delivery and pickup of your requirements,
we ask that you call 387-8811 or 387-8819 or
to schedule all delivery, pickups,
office moves, and table/chair requests.
For scheduling
purposes, please observe the following guidelines:

Table and chair requests require at least
10 business days for proper scheduling. Your department Fund
and Cost Center is required for this service.

Surplus moves normally are scheduled within
15 business days from the date the work order is filled out. When
requesting a work order for surplus and office move requests,
please ask for the work order number for follow up action.

Freight Delivery is first in, first
out within three days unless otherwise coordinated.

at 387-8811 in advance to make delivery arrangements.
Our warehouse
space is very restricted and is not designed for long term
storage. Items awaiting delivery to your department beyond
10 business days affects our ability to service other campus
departments.

Office moves require a minimum of 10 business
days. Please contact the at 387-8819 to schedule your office move. Please
be very complete as to the nature of the articles to be moved. Very
heavy items need to be identified. Items which need to be
disassembled must be coordinated with Maintenance/Building
Services at 387-2FIX (2349).

Packages, UPS, Express, Airborne, and
other high priority items are delivered the same day received.
